Press Release - 16th September 2004

Energia Solar Sistemas release new “Ener-Gen” Wind turbine range to the European market.

Energia Solar Sistemas, the Castellon based distributor of solar and wind energy system components, is pleased to announce the arrival of the Ener-Gen range of wind turbines.

The range caters for all markets, starting at from 100 watts, and goes on upto a huge 600KW machine that is designed for wind farm applications, at a price that few others can acheive. The range is vast, with a total of 14 models to choose from, together with many tower and voltage options, there will be a machine for everyone and every requirement.

“At present, Energia Solar Sistemas are looking to recruit European distributors for the Ener-Gen range”.

Energia have recently taken the market by storm with the release of the Microsolar Water Heater, and have acheived record temperatures of over100º, most importantly without any electricity or chemicals!
The new breed of Ener-Gen wind turbines are expected to be a very good product for the small/médium distributor and installer in europe, as the combination of high quality, high output in low wind speed, and most importantly, low cost will ensure that they are very affordable, and enable Energia’s partners to have access to a complete range of Turbines, all from one manufacturer.

Energia´s Managing Director said, “we are very pleased to announce the arrival of the Energ-Gen range, as it will be complimenting our existing exclusive product lines. I expect the Ener-Gen range, being stronger, heavier and with higher power outputs per Euro than other turbines, to redefine the standards of wind turbines as we know them today”.

Some basic features of the machines are:

:. Max power production speed 90Kph,
:. Maximum resistant windspeed 216Kph,
:. Side furling design to prevent damage,
:. Heavy duty “Industrial Grade” construction,
: Only 2 moving parts,
:. Estimated life span 20-25 yrs,
:. Corrosion resistant finish, many Stainless Steel parts

Press Release - 19th August 2004

Energia Solar Sistemas report highest ever temperatures for Microsolar Multivalve Solar water heaters.

On 17th August, 3pm in Alcossebre, Castellon, at a height of 6m above sea level Microsolar model 60 VT (installation Pictured) achieved a temperature of 100ºC

The installation had only been running for 6 hours since sunrise in the morning of 17th of July and temperatures were “rising higher than our greatest expectations” said a satisfied customer. The readings were taken at 12:00 midday and were conducted in a “real-life” installation, without any chemicals or electric back-up heaters! – a complete standalone installation for water heating.

The water on the outlet pipe was also tested at 99ºC, (see picture)

Microsolar water heaters offer a much wider range of operation than their competitors, during Januuary 2004 in Pewaukee USA, Microsolar conducted tests in conditions at minimum temperatures of –31.7 degrees, and due to the construction of the coaxial vacuum tubes, together with the insulated water tank, the temperature of water in the Microsolar water heater did not go lower than 15.5 degrees, clearly showing the Microsolars´ ability to perform in adverse weather conditions. Where other water heaters freeze and suffer from cracked tubes at 8 degrees below zero, the superior quality of the Microsolar coaxial Multivavle Tubes (patented) ensure it not only survives these below zero, harsh conditions, but actually heats waster too!. Another attribute of the Microsolar Water heater is it´s ability to resist hailstones of 20mm diameter on the glass Borosilicate tubes, therefore making it much more durable in extreme weather conditions than any of it´s competitors

The Exclusive Distibutor of Microsolar water heaters in Spain is Energia Solar Sistemas which are based in the Valencia region, and have been installing the Microsolar range of Solar water heaters with great success on the mainland. Typically, installations are split 50/50 commercial/private installations, and with possible subsidies and grants available, they make very good commercial sense.
